20th October 2013 Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: light Surf / Sea State: smooth small rollers Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: 15.9 Weather: cloud Max Speed: 22.7/2secs (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 9.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Hung around for hours waiting for promised wind; a couple of Mersea boys rigged 6.2/6.5m but wisely didn't wobble out. Just before heading home a few other turned up with some breeze. Rigged 6.9m/118l but barely planed so 8.5m. Wind came up for about 20 mins which was quite nice in fairly smooth sea, then the rain came. Sail is a bit weird, as wind increases I never seem to get the power from it; if I leave less floppy cams pop off. |
